Dr. Davis strives to integrate the wisdom of traditional medicines with the accuracy of evidence-based medicine. In accordance with the classic naturopathic principle that “most chronic disease starts in the gut” his practice is mostly focused on gastrointestinal disease and GI health, but (as the father of four feisty children) he loves pediatric medicine as well. He’s one of the only physicians in North America currently using fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) to treat inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr. Davis graduated with honors in research from the National College of Natural Medicine, and is thankful to include Steven Sandberg-Lewis, ND, DHANP, Russell Marz, ND, LAc and Satya Ambrose, ND, LAc as mentors. He completed his bachelor’s degree in applied linguistics at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
